Pavé Pandemonium

E Elder, better known as Pavé Pandemonium [née von Prisma] is a trans masculine artist and drag entertainer from Lincoln, Nebraska. Raised on high fantasy and Peter Max, he incorporates all of his creative flights of fancy seamlessly together on and off stage.

Coming into himself in his early 30s has been a whirlwind. From joining the Clements-Noyes Art Gallery in 2021, to friendships falling apart, to stepping onstage as Pavé for the first time, to having top surgery in 2024, to leaving his second marriage, to winning two drag titles, he has lived a lot and he’s not done yet.

No matter what life has thrown his way, no matter how difficult a situation or lofty a goal, Pavé has kept his grandmother’s advice in the forefront of his mind: When you have a challenge to overcome, you just do it.

Pavé involves himself with activist work, including ICE rapid response, mitigating food insecurity, and connecting people to mutual aid, particularly in the queer community.

He hopes his art speaks to those who view it, no matter the medium, and that inspires them.
